It recently emerged that Kym Marsh had rekindled her romance with ex-boyfriend Matt Baker.

But Matt's pregnant ex-girlfriend Danni Ballard, who had a nine-month relationship with the personal trainer before he broke up with her this spring - reportedly had a 'public showdown' with him.

Danni, 26, is said to have confronted the new couple at Manchester's Old Trafford Centre shopping centre 11 days ago, demanding why Matt wanted nothing to do with their baby, the Sunday Mirror reports.

The clash is said to have occurred in the Next children's department, where Danni was buying clothing for her unborn child and Matt was helping Kym shop for her four-year-old daughter Polly.

When Danni marched up to Dan and Kym and demanded why he was shopping for someone else's child when he wouldn't acknowledge his own, the bearded beau is said to have told her to, 'Go away'.

The 39-year-old Coronation Street actress apparently turned her back on the blonde when quizzed whether she knew about the pregnancy.

According to the Mirror, Danni is alleged to have told a pal following the bust-up: 'I wouldn't go out with a guy who wasn't facing his responsibilities with his pregnant girlfriend.

A source close to Matt told MailOnline: 'Danielle behaved highly inappropriately last weekend in a shopping centre, ranting and raving at Kym and Matt in front of Kym's four-year-old daughter Polly.'

MailOnline has contacted Kym's representatives for comment.

Danni and Matt started dating last September after meeting on dating app Tinder, but she claims he ended things in April when she revealed she was pregnant.

The PA reportedly grew suspicious when Matt said he was going to train with Kym - who he had dated for six weeks in early 2014 - again, but he denied still having feelings for his ex.

A spokesperson for Matt said: 'He had been split from her for a number of weeks before she told him she was pregnant, initially telling him he wasn't the child's father and then saying he was.

'If the baby is Matthew's he will be a committed father and ensure he has a full role in the baby's life.'

Mother-of-four Kym initially originally started seeing personal trainer Matt - 14 years her junior - shortly after divorcing from husband of two years Jamie Lomas, with the two of them spending a romantic Valentine's weekend together in Paris.

When things cooled off, she struck up a relationship with Dan Hooper, who had just ended his five-year-relationship with Hollyoaks' Stephanie Waring,

Just a couple of weeks after revealing it was officially over between her and Dan, Kym revealed in her column that she was training with Matt once again, setting tongues wagging.

Matt had also been training two of Kym's four children - son David, 21, and daughter Emilie, 17 - for the past seven months.

In August, Kym played down the romance reports in her OK! magazine column, claiming that the pair are simply good friends.

She said: ‘Matt and I have been good friends for three years. I am enjoying his company but we’re certainly not in a relationship.’

The pair only got back together recently, however, several months after his romance with Danni came to an end.
