Fantin moves to Draco for 2014 season
2 December 2013 – Pietro Fantin will switch from Arden Caterham to Draco Racing for the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 campaign.
The Brazilian, 22, finished 21st at the end of his rookie term in the feeder category, and penned a deal with his new squad after a successful phase of post-season testing.
"Fantin is a talented guy who showed a lot of promise in the testing he did with us," said team boss Guto Negrão.
"He has a professional attitude that we don't see often in young drivers. He immediately got along well with our staff, and in the technical briefings he listened carefully to each and every discussion, looking for details that could make a difference.
"We surely started on the right foot and now we hope that we'll be able to carry that momentum into the 2014 season."
The team, which fielded Nico Müller and André Negrão this year, is set to complete its 2014 line-up in the near future.
