Joshua Jackson shows off his chiselled chest and tattoos as he goes surfing... while Diane Kruger attends charity event
He's rarely seen without long-term love Diane Kruger by his side.
But with his other half engaged in a high-profile charity event, Joshua made the most of his solo afternoon.
The California-born actor indulged his love of surfing as he hit the waves in Montauk, New York on Saturday.
Looking good: Joshua Jackson was spotted showing off his toned body and sexy tattoos as he hit the waves in Montauk, New York on Saturday
And the 37-year-old certainly looked the part, showing off his chiseled chest and tattoos as he walked shirtless across the sand.
In matching yellow board shorts and surfboard, Jackson's wet brown mane was disheveled as he returned to dry land.
Jackson looked in good spirits as he took in some sun and spent the day without his 39-year-old partner by his side.
Hitting the waves: Jackson enjoyed a relaxing day at the beach surfing while girlfriend, Diane Kruger spent the afternoon at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City's Central Park
Diane used her afternoon for a great cause at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City's Central Park.
Perhaps surprisingly, she spent the day with Jackson's ex-girlfriend and former Dawson's Creek co-star, Katie Holmes.
Jackson and Holmes were in a relationship during the first two seasons of the hit show and Katie has claimed Jackson was her first love, as reported by Us Magazine.
But there was no bad blood between the two ladies as they attended the important cause which aims to combat poverty, inequality, and climate change throughout the world.
Diane was excited for the event and took to Instagram to show her support with the caption,'Global Citizen Concert here I come #GlobalFund #GlobalCitizen.'
The blonde beauty also shared a black and white snap of herself holding a sign reading,'We are not a generation of bystanders. We are global citizens.'
Kruger's cause: The 39-year-old actress made a statement as she held up a sign encouraging world-wide change on her Instagram page
No bad blood: Katie Holmes took to the stage for a great cause at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City's Central Park, while her former flame's girlfriend attended the event as well
Take a walk on the wild side like Katie in a crocodile print
Katie Holmes stunned at the Global Citizen Festival in an Isabel Marant, crocodile print jacket. This particular jacket has no center zip up, but a ruffled trim that gives a feminine flounce. The fitted shoulders and sleeves look structured and neat.
We love Holmes' daytime pairing with a colorful and textured blouse along with ash, cigarette jeans. The actress chose tousled tresses and minimal makeup to boot with this number.
We didn't expect crocodile print to come back looking so good, but Katie has us sold! We would love to pair this jacket with a flirty dress for a night out or with boyfriend jeans for an everyday look. You can try your options by checking out the carousel below for more croc print jackets!
The blonde also shared a black and white snap of herself holding a sign reading,'We are not a generation of bystanders. We are global citizens.'
Holmes hit the stage to speak at the star-studded free concert event which featured performances by Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Pearl Jam and Beyonce.
Several Hollywood A-listers also spoke at the affair including Leonardo DiCaprio, Bono, Hugh Jackman, Stephen Colbert, Salma Hayek and Kerry Washington.
