And during a sun-drenched jog Jennifer Metcalfe showcased her washboard abs and enviably toned body, as she took some time off in Spain away from the set of Hollyoaks.

Wearing only a sports bra and figure-hugging leggings, the 32-year-old actress and pin-up showed off the rewards of her healthy lifestyle as she worked up a sweat on Sunday.

Wearing a pair of high-waisted animal-print leggings that showcased her toned legs and gym-toned derriere, the Hollyoaks star flaunted her enviable curves as she exercised.

Teaming her leggings with a low-cut, grey and neon green Nike sports bra, the Bradford beauty flashed a hint of cleavage as well as her gym-toned arms and washboard abs.

With her hair pulled back firmly in a ponytail, the actress - who plays Mercedes McQueen on the Channel 4 soap - showcased her natural looks by going make-up free.

Clearly still in a healthy frame of mind, the star been looks to be keeping up the healthy regime which she adopted while her character was off screen for four months.

Following her character's faked death and flight from the town of Chester, Jennifer took some time out from filming to focus on her health and wellbeing.

During that time, the brunette discovered healthy eating programme, LighterLife Fast, which sees her committing to a 5:2-style regime.

Speaking to MailOnline about her weight back in June, the brunette said: 'As I've got older I've become more body confident.
