For a Brazilian Rihanna fan her Rock In Rio concert was set to be the experience of a lifetime.

And some die-hard fans were so detemrined to get the best spots that they went to extraordinary lengths to make sure they were front and center for the performance.

The singer posted a photo on her Instagram account showing festival-goers waiting in line brandishing disposable diapers.

Written alongside the picture was the message: 'Some of #RihannaNavy fans will be wearing #diapers...don't want to lose their spot going to the bathroom. #RockinRio.'

Before she took to the stage, Rihanna had a treat in store for some of lucky fans who'd been waiting so long to see her perform.

The 27-year-old performer took some time to meet them, signing autographs and chatting.

She looked casually cool in the Brazilian heat as she stepped out wearing a red silky bandana on her head, coupled with a Nineties inspired ruched nude dress.

It may have been a long wait but when the Diamonds hitmaker finally began her set on the music festival's sixth night, the crowds weren't disappointed.

Rihanna played with her wavy strands as she sauntered on stage, sporting a pair of large sunglasses and a tight black tank top.

She also had long and sparkling necklaces that fell past her cleavage.

Having recently unveiled a brand new pair of shoes for Puma, Rihanna's professional life is clearly going from strength to strength.

And her rumored romance with Travis Scott that has also made headlines with the couple appearing to confirm they're more than friends when they put on a steamy display at a New York Fashion Week party.

Rihanna sparked further rumours as she cast her new love as her co-model for her collection with Puma, where she has been named women's creative director.

'Travis and Rihanna are dating, officially...It's already very serious. He's very into her,' a source told E!
