Far out: Kristen Wiig and Kate Mara stunned as they attended The Martian premiere during the New York Film Festival in New York City on Sunday
Be the belle of the ball in Kristen's Oscar de la Renta dress
Well this has got to be one of the prettiest dresses we’ve seen of late. Setting herself apart in Oscar de le Renta, Kristen Wiig was the belle of the ball at the Martian Premiere in New York.
Plucking her feminine bandeau blue dress from the Dominican American designer’s brand new spring/summer 2016 collection, Kristen wowed onlookers in the flirty and fun creation embellished with a floral applique.
Showing off a good dose of chest with its plunging cut out neckline, Kristen pulled the A-line number off beautifully, announcing her tiny waist in the process thanks to the dress’ exaggerated voluminous skirt.
The sad news it that Oscar's ethereal SS16 line won't become available for a few months, but you can snap up one of the options below to emulate Kristen's look from the likes of ASOS, Boohoo and Zimmermann.
Style with metallic or nude barely there sandals and a chic updo for a dainty finish.
The ornate piece was detailed with a fitted navy top decorated with colourful floral embroidery, which she teamed with a pair of nude open-toe, ankle-strap heels.
Her caramel locks were parted on the side and slicked back, showing off her glowing complexion.
Kristen punched up her look with a pink pout and subtle smoky eye, similar to Kate's palette of make-up.
Taking the plunge: Kristen arrived in a revealing low-cut strapless gown
Stellar: Kate wore a vibrant space-themed dress with black and tan ombre heels
The sister of actress Rooney Mara was clad in a short-sleeved black frock featuring a vivid galactic-themed print and black mesh.
The pixie-cut star teamed her dress with black and nude ombre stiletto pumps.
The ladies were joined by their co-stars Sebastian Stan, Mackenzie Davis and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Usher, Rachel Weisz, and Mackenzie Davis were among other stars at the premiere.
The Martian tells the story of astronaut Mark Watney, played by Matt Damon, who during a manned mission to Mars is presumed dead and left behind by his crew after a fierce storm.
But Watney has survived, and finds himself stranded and alone on the Red Planet. Using all the resources he can muster, he must find a way to survive - and signal to Earth that he is alive.
Against all the odds, he makes contact, and the world unites behind efforts to bring 'the Martian' home.
Loving the details: The star seemed keen on keeping her hands near or in her skirt pockets
Chill: Usher arrived in a black blouse and navy trousers which he teamed with black shoes
While Nasa and a team of international scientists work tirelessly on a plan to get Watney back to his home planet, his crewmates - headed by Commander Melissa Lewis, played by Jessica Chastain - plot a daring rescue mission.
The film is based on the best-selling science fiction novel by American author Andy Weir.
The Martian is set for release on Wednesday in the UK followed by a US release on October 2.
Moving on: Chiwetel Ejiofor was spotted with a mystery woman shortly after splitting with his girlfriend Sari Mercer
Suited and booted: The star looked incredibly dapper in a grey checked Thom Sweeney ensemble for the occasion
