Stunning pair: Elizabeth Hurley, 50, and Joan Collins, 82, show off a sultry look on the cover of the quarterly fashion and lifestyle magazine, Citizen K
Shot in St Tropez, France, last summer, Elizabeth stuns in a strapless, black metallic swimsuit, worn with a statement de Grisogono choker necklace.
Her brunette tresses coiffed into loose waves, the striking star stares intently at the camera as she soaks in a swimming pool.
Joan, meanwhile, sits in a director's chair wearing a luxurious gold kaftan and statement luxury jewels by Van Cleef & Arpels.
Brunette beauty: Former Austin Powers star Elizabeth also wows within the magazine, wearing a plunging gold sequinned dress, which flaunts her slim figure to perfection
The stunning image pays homage to Elizabeth Taylor's iconic portrait taken by Helmut Newton in 1985.
The shot showed the legendary actress bathed in a Los Angeles pool bejewelled with an emerald Bulgari set and a pet parrot, which is replicated by Elizabeth in the new cover image.
The homage was the realisation of the magazine’s founder and editor, Kappauf.
He explained: 'I thought it was timely for Liz Hurley to return as cover girl, and when the opportunity arose to celebrate yet another British icon, Joan Collins, in the same shoot.
'I had the urge to reincarnate that iconic portrait, but have Joan Collins sit in what was originally an empty director’s chair.'

Former Austin Powers star Elizabeth also stuns within the magazine, wearing a plunging gold sequinned dress, which flaunts her slim figure.
The actresses portray a mother/daughter duo in The Royals, in which Joan plays the Grand Duchess of Oxford, the mother of Queen Helena, played by Elizabeth.
The pair have recently wrapped filming season two of the series, which premieres in the US on November 15.
And during the run up to the first season of The Royals, Elizabeth told This Morning that she was inspired by Joan for her villainous, head of state role on the show.
'She's fabulous, she looks phenomenal and she is great,' said Liz of her iconic co-star. 'I was inspired a little bit by her and her part in Dynasty. She was the best villain on television.'
Throwback: It's been eleven years after Elizabeth's last cover shoot for the magazine in Spring 2004
Liz - who's mother to 13-year-old son Damien from a relationship with businessman Steve Bing - recently shared the secrets to her enviably youthful appearance, telling MailOnline how she keeps her lean and healthy figure in shape.
'I don't do a lot of set exercise, but I'm very active and run around all day,' she admitted - even doing 'stomach and bottom exercises' while waiting for the bath to fill.
Meanwhile, London-born Joan - who has three grown-up children - recently opened up to the Mail on Sunday about losing her younger sister Jackie, 77, to breast cancer.
She wrote: 'I don't think I'll ever recover from losing selfless, courageous, Jackie... the best girlfriend I ever had.'
