Son of country star Eddie Montgomery dies in mystery 'accident' at home: Family mourns engaged nineteen-year-old Hunter

Hunter Montgomery, the 19-year-old son of country music singer Eddie Montgomery, has died in a mystery 'accident'.
The engaged father-of-one died in a hospital in Kentucky with his family by his side after an unexplained incident earlier this week.
Eddie, of the country duo Montgomery Gentry, released a heartbreaking statement, which said: 'My son Hunter went to heaven today.'

The statement added: 'I appreciate all your prayers and love and thank you for giving us privacy as we grieve and say goodbye.'
A spokeswoman for the family later added that the family would not be explaining what the accident was 'until the family is ready to release further information.'
The announcement on the Montgomery Gentry Facebook page said Hunter - who recently became a father to a baby boy, Bennett - had been on life support at a hospital in Lexington.
His mother Tracy Nunan had been at his bedside since Friday, 'praying for a miracle'.
She posted a short passage from the Bible on Facebook this morning.
'Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken,' she wrote.
'My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.'

Hunter was engaged to fiancee Davara Little, who he proposed to on stage at one of his father's gigs in August 2014.
He posted on Facebook in June: 'My beautiful fiancé is amazing and I love her to death. She’s a great mother and that is my boy right here. He’s amazing also I love him to death. These two people I swear make my world go around each day they're what keep me going.'
According to the Taste Of Country website, the 19-year-old was the youngest of Eddie's four children with his ex-wife Ms Nunan and brother to daughters Brooke and Candace and oldest son Kevin.
In 2010, the musician, 51, was diagnosed with prostate cancer and in January 2014 he filed for personal bankruptcy, the website reported, as a result of the divorce and a failed restaurant venture.
In April 2014, he married second wife Jennifer Belcher.
Eddie partnered with fellow Kentucky musician Troy Gentry in 1999 and have enjoyed several hits including Billboard Hot Country Songs number ones If You Ever Stop Loving Me, Something To Be Proud Of and Roll With Me.
