But every day is a mother's day for Julia Roberts, as she supported her boys playing soccer in Malibu, California on Saturday.

The Pretty Woman actress, 47, cheered on sons Phinnaeus, 10, and Henry, eight from the sidelines.

She showed off her famously long legs in denim cut-off shorts, as the mother-of three mastered her off-duty look - without husband Danny Moder.

The couple are also parents to daughter Hazel, who was also absent from the match.

The Erin Brockovich star was apparently self-appointed head of refreshments, carrying a packed picnic bag and diving into a large cooler box.

Her eyes were covered by dark glasses, with her famous strawberry-hue locks pulled into a messy loose bun as she stayed make-up free with a flawless complexion.

She told Allure magazine that she didn't think she would have 'succeeded' on her upcoming film Secret in Their Eyes without Moder serving as cinematographer.

In the crime-thriller, Julia plays a DA investigator called Jess, who has to relive her daughter's rape and murder after new evidence is discovered 13 years later.

'I don't know if I would have succeeded in some of the efforts that I made if he hadn't been in such close physical proximity to me,' said Roberts, whose mother Betty Lou passed away during the production.

Secret in Their Eyes was the couple's eighth collaboration following films like The Normal Heart, Mona Lisa Smile, and The Mexican (where they met in 2000).

It hits US theaters November 20 and UK theaters March 4, and it stars Nicole Kidman, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Dean Norris.

It's her fourth collaboration with Marshall, who also directed in her in Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, and Valentine's Day, and is due for release on April 29, 2016.
