As suave as ever! David Beckham makes a dapper appearance at The Pride Of Britain Awards in fitted black suit

As one of the world's most famous sportsmen he turns heads wherever he goes.

But on Monday evening David Beckham's ability to make people stop and stare was heightened as he made an extremely dapper appearance at The Pride Of Britain Awards in London.

Taking to the red carpet at The Grosvenor House Hotel, the 40-year-old was as suave as ever in a sharp fitted black suit.

Standing in the spotlight, David smouldered as he posed for pictures ahead of the main event.

Resting one hand in his pocket, Beckham did well to model his two piece suit which he teamed with a crisp white shirt and knitted tie.

Donning patent brogues, the father-of-four slicked his hair back in its usual quiffed style as he continued to rock his designer beard.

The Pride of Britain Awards, which were founded in 1999, honour the UK's unsung heroes.

Broadcast by ITV, the awards are sponsored by The Mirror and the nominees are chosen by members of the public.

Winners from the annual event are from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all over the country.

The grand ceremony is known for attracting celebrities from different corners of the industry including musicians, sports stars and top politicians.

Also sponsored by Lidl, the 2015 edition will be hosted by popular TV personality Carol Vorderman. 

The Pride of Britain awards will be aired on Thursday at 8pm on ITV.
