They were rumoured to have parted ways this June.

But Sophia Bush finally put an end to the endless speculation when she stepped out for a casual date in New York City with her actor boyfriend Jesse Lee Soffer on Sunday.

The 33-year-old Chicago P.D. star was sporting a casual off-duty look as she strolled alongside her handsome co-star, looking very much like an item.

Sophia looked effortlessly cool in her loose, floral blue dress paired with stylish snakeskin print trainers.

She added some interest to the look with a metallic necklace, matching cuffs and earrings, both from Dannijo, and a cute green satchel, wearing her light brown bob in a dishevelled style.

Jesse, 31, was looking dapper in an Oxford shirt and a jeans, which he teamed with lace-up shoes.

Sophia and Jesse, who respectively play Detectives Erin Lindsay and Jay Halstead on the crime drama, were alleged to have ended things amicably after they 'grew apart', but it seems their romance is still very much alive.

The pair put on a loving display by going hand-in-hand as they made the most of the balmy weather in the city.

The One Tree Hill actress started dating Jess after splitting from Google executive Dan Fredinburg in February 2014.

Dan was tragically killed in an avalanche on Mount Everest in April this year, and Sophia recently admitted her ex's shock death devastated her.

'Losing one of my best friends a few months ago shattered me,' she told Health magazine.

Discussing the grieving process, she recalled: 'There were days I felt like my body had been turned inside out.'

'I felt like my heart was on the outside of my body and everyone who came near me was stabbing me,'
