Sting, 63, who performed at the event, looked very smart in a black suit worn over a blue shirt and smart black jumper.

While his 61-year-old wife stood out in a form-fitting red midi dress which flattered her figure.

Jessica Biel, Edward Norton, Mario Batali, Richard Branson, George Soros and Neil deGrasse Tyson were also set to participate.

Meanwhile, Sting was recently pictured in a clinch with performer Mylène Farmer on location in Paris, where they locked lips in a passionate embrace.

However, the moment was simply being filmed for his new track Stolen Car.

The new duet is actually a re-make of an old track by the British star, which first appeared on his 2003 LP Sacred Love.

Originally titled Stolen Car (Take Me Dancing), it was first released as a single on April 26, 2004, and was much more up-tempo. It serves as the first single from Farmer's tenth studio album.

The re-make is Sting's first music project since his musical, The Last Ship, ended on Broadway.
