David Harrower’s play is about an encounter between Ray, a male business executive, and Una, the woman he seduced 15 years earlier.

She was only 12 years old when they were together.

Una was originally played by Alison Pill, who is Daniels’ castmate on HBO’s The Newsroom.

Now the part will be played by Williams, who has been nominated for an Oscar three times.

Michelle was last seen on Sunday with her daughter Matilda taking in Finding Neverland in the Big Apple.

The nine year old posed with her mother and the star of the production Matthew Morrison.

Matilda's father is the late Heath Ledger.

Matilda wore a large, dark brown ten gallon hat along with a turquoise bandanna tied around her neck and several bracelets on her wrist.

The youngster also wore a blue, purple and white tie-dye top with skinny black jeans and boots.

Michelle looked good in a black sweater with ripped indigo-wash jeans and strappy black leather sandals.

Matthew, 36,  looked dapper in matching grey vest and trousers along with a crisp white dress shirt and patterned black and grey tie.

It has now been seven years since Matilda's father and Michelle's ex-fiancé Heath tragically passed away from an accidental prescription drug overdose in 2008

Heath and Michelle had broken up just months earlier after a three-year relationship.

The two met on set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004, which earned Michelle an Oscar-nomination, as screenwriter Diana Ossana told Out Magazine in July it was love at first site.

The 66-year-old American screenwriter said: ‘The first day we filmed that scene where Michelle’s character is on the toboggan and falls off the sled, and Ennis is with her—they’re laughing; well on the third take, Michelle fell off the sled, and at the bottom of the hill she was crying.

‘She’d twisted her knee, and we had to call someone to take her to the hospital. Heath was not about to let her go alone, and as he was getting into the vehicle with her he was smoothing her hair back.

‘I remember him looking at her, and she looking up at him with these wide eyes. She was almost startled by the attention he was giving her, but you could see it every day from thereon. For him it was truly love at first sight. He was so taken with her.'
