She's in the French capital promoting her new album ahead of Paris Fashion Week.

And 23-year-old Selena Gomez looked suitably chic as she stepped out on Monday ready for her busy day ahead.

The Good For You singer looked beautiful in an all-black ensemble which she teamed with a cute straw hat as she left the plush Royal Monceau hotel in the city centre.

Paris Fashion Week is about to kick off in style, so it was no surprise to see the fashionable Selena Gomez there ready to make her mark. This little lady might be just 23 years old, but that's clearly not going to be holding her back.

As she stepped out of her hotel here in the fashion capital, Selena rocked a laid-back chic aesthetic in a black leather dress, cut-off tights (how very noughties!) slip-on mules and a black, ruched, frill sleeve coat. But, as ever, it was all in the accessories, finishing her look with a cute Maison Margiela hat that is a popular pick among A-listers and that fab metallic clutch. The shimmering wristlet with the ombre tassel detail was the edge of sparkle this outfit needed and the reason for its stand-out design is the fact this piece was made from Indonesian waters stingray.

Selena showed off her slender legs in black semi-sheer leggings which she wore with a matching slash neck dress and slouchy wool coat.

Keeping to the black theme she added some extra height to her frame in strappy mules and rounded off her muted ensemble with a grey metallic clutch bag.

She wore her silky brunette tresses in crisp loose waves and added a splash of colour to her daytime look with rosy cheeks and a bright red lip.

Later on in the day she had changed into a cropped grey jumper and floaty A-line skirt as she arrived at NRJ Radio's studio.

She had swapped into a pair of killer black court shoes and had tied her hair into a messy braid, which she wore to one side, in front of her shoulder.

She flashed a huge smile as she waved to fans waiting outside the studios.

But it's not all about the fashionable displays and outfit changes, Selena has also been enjoying some time away from the spotlight exploring the Parisian sights on the down low.

Along with a photo of herself smiling on an empty cobbled street, she wrote: 'Moments where I can safely run away for a bit.'

Selena is but promoting her new album Revival and last week she lifted the lid on her relationship with her best friend Taylor Swift.

'We're in such different places in our lives, and we've been so consistent and we've stayed together,' she said.

'It's very rare to have that. I'm just so thankful for her,' the actress-singer said.

Fans of the couple went wild when Taylor brought Selena on stage during her last 1989 tour stop at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on August 26.

'I had never seen the show,' Selena, who performed her hit Good For You with her pal told People. 'It was incredible. Obviously I've seen every tour she's done, but this one was insane.'

The Hotel Transylvania 2 star – who's releasing Revival on October 9 – also revealed that she is finally coming into her own.

'I feel really good about myself,' she said. 'I'm just excited to enjoy my 20's the right way.'
