She's had a tough time just lately dealing with the breakdown of her relationship with Zayn Malik in the public eye.

And Perrie Edwards is dealt with yet another helping of heartache in Little Mix's forthcoming music video for their new single Love Me Like You.

In the prom-inspired video, the 22-year-old singer is tragically left fighting back the tears during a moment of despair having been rejected by the girls' good-looking classmate.

Elsewhere in the video, Perrie - who gets all of the bad luck - can be seen sprawled out on the ground having fallen off her bike, dropping a bunch of fresh red roses as she did so.

However, it's not all doom and gloom as Perrie's bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 23, Jesy Nelson, 24, and Jade Thirlwall, 22, seem to fare a little better in the mini-movie, which will hit YouTube on Sunday.

Although all four girls are bypassed by the very handsome prom king-type guy at the disco, both Jesy and Jade manage to land themselves a date in the teaser photos.

Meanwhile, Leigh-Anne exudes confidence as she struts her stuff on the dance floor in a gorgeous red dress and killer ankle boots.

And it was much the same when the foursome headed out for the Pride Of Britain Awards on Monday night.

Just a few days ago Perrie's former fiancé Zayn shared a sexy selfie of him and another girl on his Instagram page but the Black Magic singer ensured it was business as usual as she defiantly took to the red carpet with her bandmates in London.

The pretty blonde did not show a glimmer of hurt as she paraded in front of the cameras with her pal's support, while sporting an unusual monochrome caged top-and-trouser combo.

The strapless dress showed off her slender shoulders and gave a hint of cleavage while she toughened up the look with a thick black choker.

After Zayn controversially posted the shot, fans speculated whether the mystery girl was Gage Golightly, best known for playing Erica Reyes on MTV series Teen Wolf and for starring in Nickelodeon's The Troop.

However, a representative for Gage denied that the picture was of her.

The blonde beauty seems to be very comfortable with the tattooed star, reclining on his bare chest and pulling a matching pouty face for the camera.
