Sean Penn was busy attending the 29th Annual Clinton Global Citizen Awards in New York City.

And his children Dylan Frances, 24, and Hopper Jack, 22, were flying the flag on his behalf at the Salvatore Ferragamo Spring/Summer 2016 show during Milan Fashion Week on Sunday evening.

There was no mistaking the family resemblance between the 55-year-old actor and his genetically-blessed offspring, particularly lookalike son Hopper.

The young actor, whose mother is House Of Cards actress Robin Wright, was his father's doppelganger thanks to his tousled quiff and beard.

With one hand slung in the pocket of his stylish blue suit, Hopper mirrored Sean's cool and confident demeanor as he posed alongside his glamorous girlfriend, Uma Von Wittkamp.

Meanwhile, Dylan was every inch her mother's daughter, accentuating her flawless features with classic make-up and wearing her blonde curls down loose.

Whilst we love the edgy vibes of New York Fashion Week, we have to admit that Milan does outdo us in the chic stakes, with some of the most classic heritage brands showing in the Italian city.

The model-and-actress opted for a quirky colour block dress in contrasting panels of red, black, beige and white.

The high-necked garment boasted a modest, knee-length cut and peplum detailing drawing the eye to her slender waist.

Dylan, who previously had a short-lived romance with Robert Pattinson, was accompanied by a handsome male companion as she excitedly made her way into the fashion show.

The blonde beauty has dabbled in both modelling and acting, with roles in horror flick The Condemned and the upcoming Elvis & Nixon, starring Kevin Spacey.

However, Dylan revealed her true passion is screenwriting, something she hopes to do more of in future.

'I’ve written multiple short films for myself but I think acting has caught my interest right now', she told VOGUE Australia in a recent interview.

Dylan also revealed she deliberately shuns social media because she doesn't really like selfies and wants to lead a private life.

She added: 'I’m a very private person and I feel like I’m already starting in an industry that’s very public so anything I can keep special or private, to myself, is something that I find is very precious.'
