He's been responsible for Lady Gaga's perfectly coiffed tresses since 2009.

And hair stylist Frederic Aspiras was the object of his muse's affections in her latest spate of Instagram pictures, taken as they enjoyed a break from screen tests on Sunday.

Gaga, 29, placed an affectionate arm around his neck as he held her around the hips.

It's unclear what Gaga is testing for but the couple appear to be in a dimly-lit hotel room, posing together in front of a full-length window.

In one image Frederic looks totally enamoured as Gaga - dressed in a skin-tight black dress - gazes into his eyes.

In the second snap the Born This Way singer can be seen peering out of the window as he looks back over her shoulder.

She captioned the image: 'I love my Freddy @fredericaspiras #screentests'

Freddy started working with Gaga ahead of her Monster Ball tour six years ago. Since then, he's been involved in various projects and is her go-to man for everything from photoshoots to music videos to red carpet appearances.

Gaga's steamy snaps come after American Horror Story actress Angela Bassett, 57, revealed that kissing Gaga on the set of the forthcoming series was an experience to remember.

Lady Gaga opted for not one, but two show stopping gowns for the Emmy Awards this year. Keeping to a monochrome color palette, she donned a simple asymmetric black gown for the ceremony before changing into a white bandeau maxi with puff-ball sleeves for the after party.

Both Gaga’s look are from her stylist Brandon Maxwell’s debut collection, which he showcased during New York Fashion Week.

While the black one-shoulder maxi was spotted on the runway, this white creation is a custom version of the black one seen at NYFW.

Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, stars in the fifth season of the hit FX series as the girlfriend of Angela's character Ramona Royale.

Gaga plays the Countess, a glamorous but deadly creature who lives on a healthy diet of sex and blood. She also happens to be the owner of the Hotel Cortez and Ramona is her girlfriend.

'She's a good kisser,' Angela told Access Hollywood last week, revealing that she had never smooched a woman before that scene.

'She said, "Now that's the fastest anyone's ever jumped out of bed with me."'

The new series premieres in the US on FX on October 7.
