Terri Irwin may not be interested in ever dating again, but it seems she still gets a fair share of male attention.

While her daughter Bindi relaxed in the passenger seat, the mother-of-two was spotted chatting happily with a police officer at a petrol station in Hollywood, California.

In casual T-shirt with a sloth's face printed on it and loose-fitting white trousers, the 51-year-old smiled and laughed with the uniformed gentleman before extending her arm for a handshake.

Terri has been playing the role of chauffeur to and from the rehearsal studio in Los Angeles as Bindi tears up the DWTS dance floor.

On Sunday, Bindi was spotted as her usual bubbly self leaving rehearsal in a casual, strapless maxi dress and bronze flip flops.

Bindi has been receiving top marks with her 30-year-old partner Derek Hough, paying tribute to her late father in a recent episode when she tango-ed to AC/DC's classic You Shook Me All Night Long.

On the verge of tears, she said: 'I remember when I was really little, dancing to that song with dad. It means everything to me.'

'She's a catch': In December, it was suggested that the wildlife warrior was dating Big Brother's Tim Dormer, which he strongly denied

It is possible the police officer recognised the mother-of-two from her appearances on DWTS with her daughter Bindi or from her days on Crocodile Hunter

And while the 17-year-old raves about being in love with her wake-boarder boyfriend, Chandler Powell, her mother's personal life remains the subject of pure speculation.

No rumours of romance have ever been confirmed, and she has said in the past that she'll never love another man after the death of Steve.

The 44-year-old Crocodile Hunter lost his life when a stingray pierced his heart in shallow waters off the coast of Queensland's Port Douglas.

But in December, the wildlife warrior was rumoured to be dating Big Brother winner and conservationist Tim Dormer, but the 30-year-old reality star vehemently denied such gossip.

'Terri is a catch but she’s far out of my league. I see her as someone who I admire and sort of an inspiration in the industry and what she does for wildlife conservation,' he told New Idea.

According to New Idea, the nature expert is in discussion with Hollywood film executives to see the life of her charismatic late husband brought to the screen in a new biopic.

Terri and Bindi are now looking ahead to the film's casting, and both are believed to have a special interest in who will play the wildlife expert.

'Bindi really wants Hugh Jackman to play Steve,' the source told the magazine. 'She thinks High is just like her dad in many ways - loved, dependable and internationally renowned.'
