Bill Cosby has been stripped of his honorary degree from Brown University.

Its President Christina Paxon said the university's board stripped Cosby of the doctorate of humane letters granted in 1985.
Paxon said the comedian received the degree for integrating his personal character into his fictional one while embracing such values as 'honesty, fair play, love of family, and respect for humanity.'
'It has become clear, by his own admission in legal depositions that became public this summer, that Mr. Cosby has engaged in conduct with women that is contrary to the values of Brown and the qualities for which he was honored by the University in 1985,' Paxon said in an email to the Brown community.
She said Cosby admitted in legal depositions that he had engaged in conduct with women 'contrary to the values of Brown.'
He has admitted having extramarital relationships with several women, including some who now accuse him of sexual assault. He's never been charged with a crime.
Last week Milwaukee, Marquette's Board of Trustees approved a resolution rescinding an honorary degree presented to Cosby in 2013.
Fordham's Board of Trustees also voted to take back an honorary doctor of fine arts degree given to him in 2001.

Other schools to distance themselves from the married comedian, are Central State University, Temple University and Spelman College.
Cosby has been accused of drugging and raping over 40 women.
The comedian, who starred as Dr. Cliff Huxtable on 'The Cosby Show' from 1984 to 1992, has denied any wrong doing.
