And on Tuesday Kate Upton proved her good looks run in the family as she grabbed lunch with her mother Shelley in West Hollywood.

The 23-year-old stunner and her gorgeous mom both sported matching smiles while wearing skinny jeans, however they did clash when it came to choice of colour.

The Carl's Jr. model was dressed in all-white with skinny jeans, a button down top, and light coloured heels.

Shelley was the opposite with her brunette locks blue denim skinny jeans and a black button down top. 

Adding another of departure, Shelley wore her locks down in flowing waves over her shoulders while Kate tied her golden hair into a high knot.

Kate Upton has broken the no white after Labor day rule...and we love it! This blond bombshell worked her model charm in an all white ensemble. Although the shades of white are all similar, that doesn't mean we can't see that gorgeous, snakeskin Dior bag.

Yes, we have seen this particular, "Open Bar" style bag on Miss Upton before, but we can't seem to get over it.

This bag is perfect throughout the year and is a great example of quality for quantity. We would pair this gorgeous tote with a fur vest or a black structured dress for contrast.

In 2013, Shelley spoke about her daughter's upbringing with Allure and her healthy relationship to food.

'She really has been such a vibrant person - she leads a well-balanced life, and she wants to eat healthy,' she told the magazine.
