MMA fighter complains that her big 12lb breasts are holding her back by forcing her to compete in a heavier division

  • Brye Russilllo, 29, competes at mixed martial arts in the 155lb division
  • But the single mom claims her 12-pound breasts mean she is in a heavier class than she should be
  • Said she was unable to lose weight for a bout with 145lb Paige Lian next weekend because 'my boobs are what they are'
  • Now the pair will have to fight in the heavier class at Aggressive Combat Championships

An amateur fighter has claimed that her large breasts are holding her back in the ring.

Single mother Brye Russillo says her 12-pound breasts are forcing her to compete in a heavier MMA division than the one she should be in at the Aggressive Combat Championships.

The 29-year-old, who wears a F-cup bra, normally fights at the 155lb level, while her opponent Paige Lian battles at 145lb.

Russillo, from Nassau County, New York, says if her breasts were smaller, she would be in the 145lb class too.

Despite trying numerous methods to slim down, Russillo claims her large boobs have made it impossible, according to the New York Post.

'It's not like I can take a nail file and hack off my t**s,' she told the newspaper.

'It's not like I have a pink sparkly shelf to put them on.

'I'm trying to lose weight, but my boobs are what they are.'

Russillo, who stands at 5-foot-9, also told the Post: 'I put makeup remover on [my breasts] and then sit in the sauna, because someone told me that it opens your pores and helps you sweat. Then I’ll put hemorrhoid creme on them and wrap them overnight. I start doing this three nights before the fight.'

At one stage it looked like the fight between the pair would not go ahead due to the weight difference.

After three months of tense negotiations the bout will now take place at New York's Queens Theatre on October 3.

Russillo, a part-time pastry chef and bartender, got into mixed martial arts when she was trying to get back into shape after the birth of her daughter, who is now six.

Speaking to MyMMANews she said: 'If you find a hobby late in life, follow it.

'I have a child and am turning 30 in a couple of months, and I'm glad I followed my passion.'
