The English beauty donned a contemporary, sequined gown with a white background and geometric patterns which almost added a native american appeal.

Weisz kept her makeup light to highlight her flawless complexion and added a smoky matte eye and light pink lip.

She finished her look off with strappy silver heels and matching sparkly clutch as she attended the film festival to promote her new film The Lobster.

Make sure you shine in an embellished dress by Marc Jacobs

Who do you think wore it best - Rachel Weisz or Kendall Jenner?

It's no wonder Rachel was so bowled over by the dress that Kendall modelled on the Marc Jacobs SS16 runway at New York Fashion Week earlier this month (pictured, right) that she snapped one up for herself straight away. And here she is wearing it her own way at as she walked the red carpet at the premiere of The Martian!

The embellished upper half of this dress is super chic and provides the perfect contrast to the spangled chevron midi skirt in patriotic shades of red, white and blue. Of course this hot off the catwalk look isn't yet available to buy, but if you can't wait until next year, click (right) to shop the current Marc Jacobs collection at Net-a-Porter.

Or check out the embellished dresses we've got lined up for you in the edit below. Frock and Frill has well and truly got the trend covered, or team this two-in-one dress by Ted Baker with a sleek up 'do to be red carpet ready.

Rachel plays a short-sighted woman in a dystopian future, where the citizens are unhappy and not treated fairly.

It's a society where single people are taken to a hotel where they are obliged to find a romantic partner within 45 days or they are transformed into beasts and sent off into the woods.

Yorgos Lanthimos, director of the science fiction thriller and Ariane Labed, who plays a maid at the hotel, attended the festival alongside Weisz.

The Bourne Legacy star has been married to actor James Bond star Daniel Craig since 2011.

Craig and Weisz had been friends for many years and worked together on the movie Dream House.

They began dating in December 2010 and married the next year in a small, private New York City ceremony which included Craig's 18-year-old daughter, Ella, and Weisz's five-year-old son, Henry from previous relationships.
