Two of coaches on The Voice have been going through divorces but that didn’t stop one contestant from proposing to his lover during Monday’s blind auditions.

Jubal Lee Young got down on one knee to ask for his girlfriend Amanda Preslar’s hand in marriage in front of a screaming audience and four shell-shocked judges.

‘Are you serious?’ asked Gwen Stefani, 45, who is enduring a divorce with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, 49.

‘What just happened?’ yelled Blake Shelton, 39, who is currently splitting from fellow country singer Miranda Lambert, 31.

‘I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time,’ rejoiced Amanda as she slipped on the ring.

Pharrell Williams, 42, stood to applaud the union.

‘I happen to know that Blake is technically an ordained minister,’ piped up Adam Levine, 36.

The romantic gesture was part of the third night of auditions from the popular NBC talent show.

Jubal and Amanda, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, had hit the stage as a musical duet and picked Pharrell as their mentor.

The first singer of the night was 22-year-old Tennesse singer Morgan Frazier

The Nashville resident put a country twist on I Want You to Want Me by American rock band Cheap Trick.

Gwen marched onto the stage to win over the performer.

‘I love music that has truth,’ said the No Doubt songstress, but Morgan chose Blake.

‘I’ve been watching him since he had a mullet,’ she giggled.

Amanda Ayala, 17, said she was ‘born to rock’.

The high school graduate belted out Mississippi Queen by Mountain.

‘You have a beautiful tone,’ Pharrell told the New York youngster, while praising her ‘power’.

The teen picked Adam.

‘He’s in a band, he knows rock music,’ she squealed.

Chicago native Jeffery Austin studied public relations – but dropped his desk job for a chance at a musical career.

The 24-year-old sang Lay Me Down by Sam Smith – gaining Gwen as his coach.

‘I can’t believe nobody [else] pressed,’ she shrugged.

Lyndsey Elm, 22, comes from ‘Cow Town’ aka Vacaville, California.

She also joined Team Gwen after singing a stripped down, acoustic version of Meghan Trainor’s Lips Are Moving.

‘I can’t wait to get to know her and see what chemistry we’ll have,’ said Gwen.

Joe Maye used to work on entertainment cruise ships but turned to rock and hip-hop.

The 23-year-old sang Cameo’s 80s hit Word Up – but didn’t turn any chairs.

‘You got to be so out of breath during that performance,’ Blake told the Baltimore native.

One of the strongest performances came from New York City photographer Manny Cabo – who sings in cover bands in his spare time.

‘I miss my mortgage payments sometimes,’ said the 45-year-old hopeful as he became tearful.

He then impressed the panel with White Snake’s 1980s track Here I Go Again.

‘You seem like a man’s man…and I want a man,’ said Blake, while Pharrell praised the ‘dynamics’ of his vocals.

He picked Adam.

‘Maybe if I had rolled up my jeans Manny would have had more interest in me,’ grumbled Blake.

Madi Davis from Texas was born with some hearing troubles that affected her singing as a child.

The 16-year-old joined Team Pharrell after a haunting rendition of Carole King’s tune It’s Too Late.

‘It’s voices like yours that really inspire me,’ said Pharrell, who won the bid over Gwen.

Georgia teen cowboy Caleb Lee Hutchinson, 16, strummed The Dance on his acoustic guitar.

‘I’m shocked that your voice sounds like this at 16-years-old,’ smiled Gwen to the mature teenager.

‘You’re a big old boy,’ Blake told the teenager, calling him the ‘real deal’ despite the fact that no one turned.

Chris Crump, 31, was homeschooled before entering a family band with ‘matching sweaters’.

‘At the time I didn’t know how uncool it was,’ he laughed.

He sang Ed Sheeran’s ballad Thinking Out Loud – while tapping his heart for emotional authenticity.

He picked Blake after impressing everyone.

‘I wasn’t expecting four chairs,’ gushed the performer, whose voice cracked mid song when he saw the coaches’ faces.

Fence builder Tyler Dickerson works with his dad, building fences in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

‘It’s usually about 100 degrees every day, with humidity,’ said the 27-year-old who teared up while recalling getting dropped by his record label at 15.

He then sobbed while recounting a car accident, which followed that disappointment.

‘I had it all and it was all taken away,’ he cried.

He rocked Hard To Handle by Otis Redding and gained Blake as a mentor.

‘This is my second chance,’ he smiled.
