Parents’ day off! Teresa Palmer and husband Mark Webber enjoy a rare day without son Bodhi as they step out for a sushi lunch in Berlin

Since giving birth to her son Bodhi last February Teresa Palmer has rarely been pictured without him.

But on Tuesday the 29-year-old Australian actress and husband Mark Webber, 35, took some time away from parenting duties to step out for a sushi lunch.

The couple, who are living in Berlin with Bodhi while Teresa shoots her new movie Berlin Syndrome, looked the picture of domestic bliss as they strolled arm-in-arm down the European street.

Wearing a hooded grey sweatshirt, green bum bag, and colourful trainers, Teresa looked relaxed and content as she laughed and joked with Webber.

Her American director husband, who once described meeting his future wife as an 'out of body experience', wore a matching sweatshirt, black gym shorts, and a black beanie for the outing.

On the same day, the mother-of-one shared a selfie of her sweaty face and displeased expression, with a gym seen in the background.

'Post #crossfit burn @likemark kicking my butt!,' she captioned the shot.

'My dear @likemark to share all of the above, to adventure with you, to navigate parenting, to see the same twinkle in your eye as I have when our son does melt-on-the-spot/cuteness-overload things, is pure BLISS,' she finished.

Teresa's movie Berlin Syndrome follows a new relationship that suddenly shows some darker edges.

The psychological thriller, based on a novel by Melanie Joosten, centres around an Australian journalist, Clare, who hits it off with a charismatic local German man, Andi, and a night of passion ensues.

However, the photojournalist wakes up one morning in a Berlin apartment and is unable to leave.
