'He's really heartbroken': Justin Long and Amanda Seyfried split after more than two years together

Hollywood pair Amanda Seyfried and Justin Long have split after more than two years together.

A source revealed to Us Weekly the acting couple parted company a few weeks ago.

And according to the insider Justin, 37, is devastated.

They told the magazine: 'It happened a few weeks ago. He’s really heartbroken.'

The pair got together back in the summer of 2013, and bonded over Instagram.

Amanda, 29, told Vogue in May: 'I thought something he said was really funny.

'It was a beautiful picture of a snail, and the caption said, "F**king MOOOOOOOOVE." It made me laugh out loud, so I texted him.'

Justin told the Today show in 2014 the pair were 'in it for the long haul,' but according to another source their partnership had been on the rocks for some time.

The source revealed: 'They had different schedules and different lives. They just grew apart.' 

Amanda spoke about the pressure her career took on her relationship to Vogue saying: 'Making movies is two solid months of 12-, 14-hour days. I mean, it can ruin your relationship.'

The pair were living together in a $1.9 million apartment in New York City. 

Amanda previously was linked to Dexter actor Desmond Harrington, and had a three year long relationship with British actor Dominic Cooper before splitting in 2010.

Justin meanwhile was with Drew Barrymore and also dated Kate Mara.
