Kaley Cuoco set for quick divorce from Ryan Sweeting as it's revealed she DOES have a pre-nup

It was announced on Friday that she plans to divorce her husband Ryan Sweeting after nearly 21 months of marriage.

And it has now been revealed that Kaley Cuoco had a pre-nuptial agreement drawn up before she married the 28-year-old professional tennis player.

In divorce documents filed by the Big Bang Theory star on Friday she cites 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split.

According to TMZ the date of the couple's separation is stated as September 3.

The papers state that property and spousal support information is detailed in the pre-nuptial agreement which the duo reportedly signed a month before they tied the knot.

Getting the financial aspects of the marriage put in writing was a wise move indeed for the star who topped the Forbes list of highest paid TV actresses this year.

Kaley - whose net worth is listed as approximately $45 million - tied with Modern Family star Sofia Vergara to rake in $28.5 million in pre-tax income between June 1, 2014 and June 1, 2015. 

Ryan is reportedly worth $2 million. 

Meanwhile, People reported this week that the couple showed signs of strain in recent months.

An insider said: 'The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together recently, the tension was noticeable...You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended,'

The source also revealed how the couple attempted to maintain the spark through date nights.

'It seemed they were trying to work out their marriage by going on dates, but they both seemed miserable,' the insider said. 

News of the split made headlines on Friday when a spokesperson for the Wedding Ringer star said 'Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage,'

They added 'They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.'

They both have tattoos dedicated to the other. Kaley has Roman numerals of her wedding date (XII XXXI XIII) on her upper back. 

And scrawled across the bottom part of Ryan's forearm is the word 'Kaley' written in large cursive letters.
