One lucky fan got what he really, really wanted on Tuesday.

The young man managed to grab a selfie with Geri Horner - formerly Halliwell - as he greeted the former Spice Girl outside her house in London.

The 43-year-old was only happy to oblige her admirer with a snap, and she didn't seem at all tired from her late night the previous evening as she smiled widely for the camera.

Looking as casually chic as ever, the star was wearing her off-duty look of black skinny jeans with an oversized, luxurious dark grey poloneck jumper, loose on her slender frame.

Completing her cosy pre-autumnal look, she donned a pair of low-heeled black court shoes, and a pair of gradient-style aviator shades.

Her warm honey blonde and almost ombre locks were worn down for the day, tumbling in unstyled waves over her shoulders.

She had been stepping out of her London home, eating a cookie, when the plucky fan saw her.

Clearly not shy, he stepped forward and gave her a gift bag before they chatted for a few minutes and took some selfies on his camera.

Geri had a taxi waiting on the street to whisk her off to an appointment, but before heading off the cab driver gladly got out to take pictures of the singer and her admirer.

Her kind-hearted show with the fan came after she had put on a stunning display with new husband Christian Horner the previous evening, as they attended the star-studded Pride of Britain Awards together.

The couple - who tied the knot in an idyllic ceremony in May this year - looked the picture of newly-wedded bliss as they cosied up to one another at the event.

Geri in particular had stolen the show in a figure-hugging black dress with a halterneck, to show off her slender arms.

Her 41-year-old spouse also cut a striking figure, looking suave in a navy blue three-piece suit and tie, his arm firmly around his lovely lady's waist as they posed for pictures.

Earlier on Monday, the mother-of-one also showed off her domestic goddess prowess as she took to social media to reveal her baking skills.

Snapping a picture of her classic Victoria Sponge, the proud baker showed off the fruits of her labour in the kitchen with a selfie.

And it wasn't just any old cake, as she later presented it to Pride of Britian Award winners Fred and Vivienne Morgan - who was also celebrating her birthday on the day - as the couple kindly opened their home to troubled youngsters following the suicide of a bullied teenage girl, Simone Grice.

She wrote, along with her picture before heading to the prestigious awards ceremony: 'So I've finished this... doesn't quite look like the pic does it !? It's the thought that counts @prideofbritain [sic].'
