They've been BFFs for years.

And Nick Grimshaw, 31, and Harry Styles, 21, were reunited backstage at London's O2 Arena on Tuesday night following One Direction's penultimate concert there.

Harry, who is renowned for his friends in high places, was also joined by Kate Moss who turned out to support him and his bandmates Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan at the sold-out venue.

But while Harry looked worn out in the blurry black and white snap, which The X Factor judge uploaded to his Instagram page, his pals looked as though they had enjoyed one too many drinks.

Harry was dressed in a shirt from Grimmy's forthcoming Topman collection and the radio DJ put an affectionate arm around his shoulder as the trio posed together.

Nick looked thrilled to be reunited with his pal and flashed a huge white smile as he held his drink up in the air.

Kate looked a lot less enthusiastic although their evening out although it sounded like she and Nick had spent the best part of the night drinking.

The Radio 1 DJ captioned the image: 'One person here put on an awesome show tonight. the other two just drank. thank you.'

Nick and Kate could be some of the last people to see One Direction live as the band recently announced that they would be embarking on an extended hiatus following their current On The Road Again tour.

Louis' baby-mama Brianna Jungwirth was also keen to see the boys in action and was spotted cheering him on from a taped-off VIP area near to the stage last week.

Louis shocked the world when he confirmed in August he was expecting a child with Briana - who he had enjoyed a brief fling with after splitting from long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder.

The pop star and Californian blonde, 23, had a fleeting romance in May after they were pictured together at several Hollywood nightclubs.

However, they have become close friends during her pregnancy, despite not being in a romantic relationship.

The boys' first album as a four-piece, Made In The A.M, is set for release in November.
