Getting his second wind! Justin Bieber shows off his strength as he performs chin ups aboard water taxi... after taking a nap before one-off gig

After successful set it was a buoyant Justin Bieber who made his way across Sydney harbour in Australia in a water taxi on Wednesday morning.

The 21-year-old singer showcased his upper body strength by performing chin-ups as the floating cab shepherded Bieber and his entourage away from the Island – where he was performing a one-off gig.

Sporting the same hooded top and baseball cap he wore onstage, Bieber hoisted himself up before curling a leg onto the roof of the cabin.

The Canadian hit-maker, who was joined by a group of pals, was in high spirits following the performance - during which he entertained a select group of screaming female fans.

Bieber was previously seen splayed out on the grass after riding around on a bike as he whiled away the time before hitting the stage.

The singer's rest break came after he wandered about a Sydney island with his entourage in the early hours of the morning.

At one point they were seen sitting in a circle with the hitmaker reclining back on the ground as an assistant passed around take away coffees.

He later dropped his head to the ground and stretched out both his arms and legs for a spot of R and R.

While the newly blonde star was seen skating around the stage - something he's been doing regularly since touching down in Australia - as he warmed up for the 7am kick-off.

But he also displayed one unhealthy ritual, with the Canadian pop star puffing away on a cigarette.

Justin was dressed casually for the show in a loose-fitting grey hoodie over a long white T-shirt and skinny-leg jeans.

A snap-back cap and white kicks finished off his outfit.

The hugely popular Canadian wowed hundred of his screaming fans on the day, with the more desperate Beliebers who weren't able to secure tickets even taking kayaks out to sea to catch a glimpse of their idol.

He greeted fans on social media telling them: 'See you this morning,' after admitting to feeling the pressure.

But if he was nervous, it certainly didn't show during his stellar set that brought ear-slitting cheers from the crowd of mainly teenage girls.
