So Gisele Bundchen kept things low key when she was spotted out and about in New York on Monday.

The world's highest paid supermodel, according to Forbes, opted not to wear any make-up beyond some pink lipstick, allowing her natural beauty to shine through.

The statuesque, 5ft 11ins beauty showed off her famously long legs in ripped skinny jeans that she tucked into light brown suede booties. The 35-year-old Brazilian teamed her jeans with a white sweater.

Gisele tucked her sunglasses into her long wavy tresses that she left free to cascade around her shoulders.

She may have retired from modelling, wrapping her career at the Colcci spring/summer 2016 show in Sao Paolo, Brazil in April, but she is keeping busy.

The blonde is also releasing a $700 coffee table book about herself, featuring 300 modelling photos - including some nudes.

The limited edition of 1,000 copies, all signed by Gisele, has been put together by German publishing company Taschen to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her career. It's due to debut in November and all the proceeds will go to charity.

She is married to 38-year-old New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and they share two children, Benjamin, five, and two-year-old Vivian. Gisele is also stepmom to Tom's eight-year-old son John, whom he had with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
