Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star EJ Johnson continues to flaunt 168lb weight loss as he steps out in ripped denim hot pants

He recently admitted that his new slimmed-down figure has given him a new lease of life.

And EJ Johnson was a vision of confidence as he was spotted indulging in some retail therapy, accompanied by a friend, in West Hollywood, California, on Tuesday.

The Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star - who's lost an impressive 168lbs after undergoing gastric bypass surgery last summer - continued to break down the gender barriers as he stepped out in a pair of ripped denim hot pants.

EJ, 23, who is the son of basketball legend Magic Johnson, exposed almost the full length of his lean legs in the thigh-skimming shorts.

The flamboyant dresser opted for a rather pared-down look in comparison to his typical outfits which have seen him work mini skirt and stockings among a whole host of risque garments.

He teamed the revealing shorts with a long striped duster-style shirt-coat and a plain round-neck white vest top which he tucked into his waistband.

EJ Johnson oozed with confidence while out in Beverly Hills. The Rich Kids of Beverly Star donned a Celine shirt dress over a white tank, ripped denim shorts and some killer sneakers that picked up the gold from his Christian Dior Technologic sunglasses.

We've seen these Buscemi sneakers on celebs from Jennifer Lopez and Michelle Rodriguez, 50 Cent and Big Sean.

The ‘Alta’ high top trainers put a high fashion twist on back attire, and we love t the gold plated hardware – looking strikingly similar to Giuseppe Zanotti’s cult classic trainers at a slightly more expensive price.

He seemed in high spirits as he stocked up on items for his already expansive wardrobe.

The 23-year-old boasted about his newly-trimmer physique, which has boosted his confidence in the dating game, on the third series of Rich Kids.

'I'm a new b***h,' he proudly proclaimed.

The young fashionista recently opened up about his weight loss and shared his best-kept secrets about maintaining a leaner figure.

Talking to Page Six, he said: 'It’s a totally new mindset - I’m completely dedicated to living a new, healthy lifestyle.

'I really think it’s important for you not listen to so many fads; you really need to find what works for you,' adding that he's taken up pilates but isn't a fan of LA obsession SoulCycle whose devotees include the Beckhams, Gisele Bündchen and Katie Holmes.
