Playboy Mansion-Like Parties And Gaudy Mural Worry Rich Neighbors

Some residents of the Hollywood Hills are furious about some new neighbors, their decadent parties full of bikini-clad babes and the self-portrait they put on their garage door.
There's a feud brewing in the Hollywood Dell residential neighborhood over the hedonistic shenanigans of Bastian and Maria Yotta, a couple of mysterious wealth that throws lavish parties and offers vague life coaching sessions via their Yotta Life website. Neighbors also are not too happy with the couple's gaudy self-portrait that now covers the home's garage door, worrying that this party pad is about to become the next Playboy Mansion, KTLA reports.
This is Bastian Yotta, a super-ripped and apparently rich German guy.
And this is Maria, his wife.
They began renting the Hollywood Hills pad in June and have thrown a few parties, including one that had a caged lion as a guest. A cursory glance at their Instagram account—which has 261,000 followers—reveals the the buxom Maria and the brawny Bastian, but it's mostly butts, boobs, luxury cars and clenched abs. In one photo, a woman is sitting on a piece of gym equipment with her yoga pants pulled down while Maria attempts to heat up a slice of Hawaiian pizza on her butt cheeks. I don't know who taught these women about cooking, but that is super ineffective and kind of a waste of pizza.
As bizarre as their Instagram account is, what's really got the neighbors worried now is a giant piece of artwork that the Yottas have on their garage door.
It's a photo of Bastian, Maria and their golden retriever Luna that says "Welcome the fabulous Yotta Life mansion." Neighbors are worried this is a sign that the Yottas intend to turn their house into the next Playboy Mansion. Neighbors also are concerned about potential increased traffic from these parties, making it hard for emergency vehicles to get up the narrow streets in the event of a crisis. Neighbor Melissa Harrington told KTLA that the influx of guests causes an increase in crimes, including car burglaries and noisy afterparties in the streets. The Yottas, of course, are not the only neighbors supposedly throwing big parties.
Danny Fitzgerald, a developer who owns the Yottas' current spot plus three other homes in the Hills, says that the guests aren't causing traffic in the streets because they're not parking there. He said that he has rules for his tenants, including no parties can be thrown unless he approves them and that guests must be shuttled from the Hollywood Bowl or get to the homes by other means.
He also told KTLA, "You gotta let people that are renting a big, beautiful mansion and paying a lot do what they want." Apparently, it costs between $25,000 and $40,000 a month to rent one of these homes.
What's more, Fitzgerald believes that it's actually the neighborhood association that's causing a fuss over the Yottas' garage, and claims they have a pattern of harassing others.
He said the Hollywood Dell Association "is a group of vigilantes that just want to mess with me and mess with anyone in this neighborhood." He said they encourage people to call the cops on others constantly. In particular, he said neighbors have called the cops 96 times on his tenants, resulting in only 2 tickets.
According to the couple's website, Bastian is a "business award winner" who believes in YOLO-ing hard and that "life is a picnic" if you just believe. According to their site:

Yotta brands include a number of weird, new age-y products like MINDSLIMMING, which helps you lose weight while you sleep; and GIBaCon, which has no information other than that it will "change the world, connect generations and bring people back in life," and GlobalSkin, which are devices that use "ultrasound cavitation" to slim and shape your body. Sure, okay.
It's unclear if the Yottas' wealth comes from these products or some other source, but the Yottas also offer coaching to help others live their lives. Yes, you too can take selfies with lions and the Dalai Lama. Other than providing your contact information to the website, it's unclear exactly what a coaching session entails and what it costs.
Bastian told KTLA that they have no intention of being the next Playboy Mansion, but that they sometimes invite people to stay with them free of charge for weeks at a time during a mentoring process. While he admitted that most of the guests to his house are young, attractive women, he said his lifestyle and what happens in his house is his business.
"What happens in the house stays in the house because I don't ask neighbors, 'What are you doing with your wife or husband this evening?'" he said.
As far as the garage door, maybe that's not too weird. After all, we are talking about people who had dolls made of themselves.
