It includes everything from outerwear to hosiery, with prices starting at a purse-friendly £7.90.

Speaking about her eagerly-awaited clothing drop, which hits stores this month, Carine told Daily Telegraph: 'I feel joy at creating new mode expressions.

'I am constantly asking myself what these are, and creating new clothing within the Uniqlo LifeWear concept is a great challenge.'

She took to her own super-stylish wardrobe for inspiration, adding: 'I started from the idea of clothes that I would want to wear myself, and developed this into clothes that anyone would want to wear, a woman's ideal of clothes that make her feel transformed when she wears them.'

Blend minimalism with some sexiness like Carine

Carine Roitfeld, former editor in chief of French Vogue, has been a style icon and abriter for decades so it's so surprise that Uniqlo tapped her to design a special line for them. She exudes laid back sexiness that only a truly French woman like her can do.

Her line is all black with lots of masculine tailoring that incorporates sheer trends. Soft and hard. Sexy and strong. Luxury with high street pricing. We're fans at the very inception.

Sadly, this isn't going to be available at Uniqlo until Spring 2016. Head over to Uniqlo to check out the Japanese purveyor's classic minimalist designs now. However, take inspiration from her sheer salacious style and check out our edit below for black open weave sweaters. Whether it's from French it-girl brand IRO to high street mainstay Forever 21, we found a jumper at every price point for you.

The result is classic pieces, such as smoking jackets and double-breasted, deep-lapelled Chester coats, which feature alongside understated leopard print silk blouses, elegant slip dresses, on-point tight skirts and super-sexy knitwear.

'I made sure the coats were mannish at the shoulders, but finish just above the knee, so that a little bit of skirt shows,' she told The Guardian.

'I wanted the skirts to be just below knee length, that's my favourite. And they have pockets, because that's what gives a pencil skirt attitude.'

The easy-to-wear collaboration is sure to entice a cool new crowd to Uniqlo, as well as introduce a more glamorous edge to the casualwear favourite.

Grandmother-of-one Carine is applauded for her sophisticated personal style, counts numerous fashion influencers as her best friends and is a muse to Tom Ford and Karl Lagerfeld.

Naoki Takizawa, Uniqlo design director, who oversaw the design of the range, said: 'Carine goes to see collections all around the world, and the visuals that emerge from this relentless pursuit of leading edge fashion have had a tremendous influence on the fashion industry.

'The clothing depicted in these fresh and innovative visuals, produced with the fashion world's most influential creators, seems somehow triumphant.

'I believe that a new type of LifeWear will be created through her work.'

Carine stepped down from editing French Vogue in 2011 after a decade at the publication.

She has since founded her own magazine called CR Fashion Book and been appointed global fashion director of Harper's Bazaar internationally.

Paris Fashion Week spring/summer 2016 runs until October 7.
