Gavin Rossdale settles into luxurious $6.5m Bel-Air bachelor pad after moving out of the home he shared with Gwen Stefani

Adjusting to life after his split from wife of 13 years Gwen Stefani can’t be easy for Gavin Rossdale.

But perhaps softening the blow of divorce ever so slightly is the plush new bachelor pad that the 49-year-old has moved into.

Gavin is renting a $6.5million house in the posh Bel-Air neighbourhood of Los Angeles.

The five-bedroom, five-bathroom home has plenty of room for when the Bush frontman’s three children come to visit.

The 4000 sq. ft. property also boasts a huge swimming pool with cabana area, and stunning views of LA.

According to TMZ, Gavin moved into the luxury property last month, and he picked it because it is near the Beverly Hills house where Gwen and the children are still staying.

Us Weekly first revealed that the rocker had snapped up the rental last week.

The publication claimed that Gavin has been slowly furnishing his new place, taking his time unpacking and browsing shops such as Cassina, Diva Group, Ligne Roset, and Roche Bobois for furniture and home decor.

'He’s picked out a lot of stuff and is enjoying the decorating process,' a source said. 'He carries around a notebook and takes pictures of the stuff he likes.'

Gwen filed for divorce from Gavin on August 3. The pair share sons Kingston, nine, Zuma, six, and 17-month-old Apollo.

That same day, the couple – who married in 2002 after several years of dating – released a joint statement about the end of their relationship.

'While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage,' they said.

'We remain partners in parenthood. We are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.'

It was claimed by TMZ at the time that Gwen filed divorce papers because she believed Gavin ‘was cheating on her’.
