Cindy Crawford showed off her effortless style while promoting her book on Wednesday.

The 49-year-old supermodel discussed Becoming at the AOL studios in New York and kept it smart but casual in jeans and a blazer.

Cindy chronicles her life and career in the tome which was published on Tuesday, treating fans to words of wisdom and snippets from her glamorous world.

The natural beauty paired a russet blouse with bootleg jeans, while a chic cream jacket complemented the look.

She sported heeled mules to add a couple of inches to her already lofty stature.  

The former swimsuit model wore just a little make-up to enhance her features including peachy lip gloss.

The mother-of-two talked to Harper's Bazaar this week about her humble beginnings, international modeling career and her friendship with BFF George Clooney's wife Amal.

Cindy gushed: 'Amal is smart, she is obviously beautiful, but the thing that impressed me the most about her is that she's not only completely interesting but she's also interested - she's always asking you questions, she has asked me questions about the fashion world - it's easy to be friends with someone like that who is very interested.' 

Cindy's husband Rande Gerber has been pals with the Ocean's Eleven actor for 20 years and the duo are also business partners, co-owning Casamigos Tequila.

The couples also holiday together and have adjoining vacation homes on the same estate in Cabo, San Lucas in Mexico. 

While there's no doubt she aging beautifully, Cindy also divulged more of her thoughts on plastic surgery, revealing 'I always said I would never do anything - that was when I was 25.

'It's hard because part of you says "okay well I just want to go natural" but now it's just a part of our society where so many people are doing it. But then you see some people that are scary and you're like "oh I don't want to turn out like that" - is it better to just look old? I'm still trying to figure out where I personally draw my line.
