Congratulations to Judge Mary Lou Robinson, a Texas Legal Legend. Judge Robinson, who was the first female appellate judge in the State of Texas, celebrates 60 years of combined state and federal service on the bench this year. She will be inducted as a Texas Legal Legend by the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas on September 11, 2015. Judge Robinson was appointed by President James E. Carter, Jr., to the federal bench in 1979 and is currently the longest serving active district judge in the Northern District of Texas and in the entire Fifth Circuit.
