Real World stars reunite for a good cause at Ovarian Cancer National Alliance event where they honour the late Diem Brown

Diem Brown, the star of MTV's The Challenge, lost her battle against ovarian and colon cancer late last year.

The stars of sister series The Real World remembered their friend as they reunited for a good cause at The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance event in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.

Sean Duffy, who starred on The Real World: Boston in 1997 and is now a Wisconsin Congressman, took charge of the event that strove to raise awareness and funding to help fight the dreaded disease.

Rachel Campos-Duffy and David ‘Puck’ Rainey (The Real World: San Francisco), and Norman Korpi (The Real World: New York) were all in attendance.

The Real World, which took inspiration from the 1973 documentary An American Family, followed seven to eight people among the younger generation who were chosen to live together in a new city all under one roof.

The series has been hailed as the beginning of the reality show genre.

Back at the event, 43-year-old reality star-turned-politician Duffy looked a bit different from his early TV days when he was a scrubbed face kid.

Duffy appeared clean-cut in a neat purple suit with blue tie and beyond, tied the desk were a bunch of blue balloons.

He was joined by a few others from the wildly successful reality series including his wife Rachel Campos-Duffy and David ‘Puck’ Rainey, who both starred on The Real World: San Francisco in 1994.

Rainey, 47, who was known simply as 'Puck' during his 20-episode season, looked a far cry from his blond flip-haired days.

Fans might recall how Rainey's confrontations with his cast members led to his eviction from the community house.

Rachel, 43, looked chic in a monochrome print dress as she assisted her husband in spreading the word.

The Arizona native, who shares seven children with Sean, didn't seem to mind mingling with 'Puck,' with whom she had an in-house, ill-fated romance on their show.

Rachel shared a picture of the reality stars on Twitter along with the caption: 'Bringing the @mtv real world crew for a great cause. @normankorpi @laurelstucky @mtvpuck #30daysofteal #COCCnow.'

Norman Korpi, 48, who starred in The Real World: New York, which was the very first season, in 1992, was on hand to give his support as well.

Korpi - who is now a filmmaker and a painter - shared the SoHo loft in New York City with six other castmembers and his dog Gouda.

Derrick Kosinski, 32, from Road Rules: X-Treme and The Challenge: Battle of the Sexes II, and Laurel Stucky, 30, from The Challenge: Free Agents, also lent their support at the fundraiser.
