'Often I feel like an idiot talking to her': George Clooney jokes about comparisons between him and his human rights lawyer wife Amal
He's a Hollywood heavyweight, while she is an internationally celebrated human rights lawyer.
And during their first wedding anniversary celebrations, George Clooney admitted he often feels like an ‘idiot’ when he has a discussion with wife Amal.
Speaking to New York Daily News' Confidenti@l page, he confessed: ‘Often times I feel like an idiot talking to my own wife. It's never good.’

The couple - who married in a lavish, star-studded wedding in Italy on September 27 - marked their one-year milestone with a quiet dinner at the Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar in West Hollywood on Sunday.

‘Amal picked the spot,’ the star continued. ‘I’m a creature of habit, so I might want to go down the street to the same sushi bar that I could eat at four nights a week.

The Beirut-born, Oxford University-educated Amal is a member of Doughty Street's international law team and has a high-profile client list.
She has advised former U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan on Syria, helped ex-Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko challenge her imprisonment and represented WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange during his fight against extradition to Sweden.
Clooney, whose recent films include Gravity and The Monuments Men, is one of Hollywood's most powerful actors, directors and producers.

They attended the 15th anniversary screening of O Brother, Where Art Thou at the New York Film Festival, and Amal looked as radiant as ever for the occasion. She's still got that newlywed glow about her!

Meanwhile, George and Amal also attended a special 15-year screening of his cult film O Brother Where Art Thou? at the New York Film Festival on Tuesday.
Turning heads as she passed by, the 37-year-old lawyer looked a vision in green, while George kept his cool in a stylish two-piece suit.
