She's usually seen slipping her curves into a sultry ensemble 

But Christina Hendricks opted for a more androgynous style when she attended the opening of a Restoration Hardware store at The Gallery at the Three Arts Club in Chicago on Wednesday night, where she was joined by the equally stylish Sophia Bush. 

Posing for photos alongside her fellow party-goers, the 40-year-actress proved she isn't afraid to work new trends in a tailored outfit.

Clashing prints, the Mad Men actress rocked checked peg trousers with a fitted white shirt and a black pin-striped waistcoat.

Injecting a touch of glamour, the statuesque beauty elongated her slender legs with a pair of black court shoes, and a black and gold statement necklace. 

Her red locks were styled into tousled waves that framed her pretty face, which looked typically porcelain and radiant.

Former One Tree Hill star Sophia also seemed keen to show off her style credentials in dungarees with a twist. 

The denim style featured flared, cropped bottoms and a plunging torso which was emblazoned with frilled detailing. 

Ensuring she didn't put too much on display, the 33-year-old star paired the look with a patterned bandeau top, while putting her best foot forward in leopard print stilettos.
