Ricky Gervais has put his Hampstead home on the market for more than £7.7million complete with a gym, swimming pool, sauna and a golf simulator room.

The comedian, 54, built the basement entertainment complex after purchasing the property in 2006 for £3.4 million.

The renovations reportedly cost him around £1million, but if he manages to double his money on the property, the funnyman will be laughing.

Now Ricky and his partner, producer Jane Fallon, also 54, are selling up after buying a £10.5 million mansion nearby.

The property, which spans 5,263 sqft, is listed on property website Zoopla along with a selection of stunning images of the interior.

Other special features inside the Victorian four-bedroom North London house include a bright pink bath and an enchanting tree-enclosed patio.

While retaining some of its Victorian features, the house has a slick modern feel with wood-panelled floors, cream carpets, and taupe-coloured walls.
