He had an army of adoring acolytes during his Teen idol pomp in the Backstreet Boys.
And Nick Carter proved at least his biceps are still Larger Than Life when he attended Dancing With The Stars practice in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The fading star looked pumped to be spending another day getting up-close and personal with saucy Australian dancer Sharna Burgess when he pulled up in his trendy black SUV.

The 35-year-old recently explained they have a great time bumping and grinding together, and how he likes to 'give and take' from his sexy mentor.
He said: 'She is an amazing partner – we work really well together, she pushes me enough.
'It is very give and take. We listen to one another, it's great.'
He would surely have been smiling even more when he saw Shanna, who hails from the wonderfully named Wagga Wagga in New South Wales, as she looked hot to trot in a open-sided top that put her charms on full display, as well as tight leggings.

He said: 'She is a sweetheart - she is a big loveable bunch of joy.'
Nick appears to have developed a fondness for the Australian star, as he went on to gush about the 17-year-old conservationist.
Nick said: 'She is very talented for never having really danced - it's really awesome someone so youthful is so vibrant.'
