Pregnant Jessa Duggar Seewald is 'holding her head high' after brother's molestation reveal as she shares video of her baby kicking

This past summer was difficult for Jessa Seewald (née Duggar) as she dealt with fallout from brother Josh's molestation and cheating scandals, which resulted in the cancellation of her family's hit TLC series 19 Kids And Counting.

However, despite the hardship, a source has revealed to People that the 22-year-old mom-to-be is doing well.

'Some people may have thought Jessa was wounded by the negative headlines, so it's exciting to be able to show people that she is happier than ever and holding her head high,' the source shared.

The reality star married 19-year-old Ben on November, 1 2014, and is expecting the couple's first child around the time of their first wedding anniversary.

'Jessa is truly feeling so happy, healthy and centered,' the source continued: 'This is really one of the best times of her life.

'Her love for Ben is really something to see. They adore each other, and it's clear that they're soul mates. He treats her like a true queen.'

The expectant mother recently shared her baby bump - and active baby - in an Instagram video capturing her little one's movements.

'So weird and yet amazing to see my baby move like this! Finally managed to capture one of those super active moments! Lol!' she wrote.

The mom-to-be continued: 'I know, I'm a bit obsessed... but this Mama is absolutely fascinated! Here's what the #BabyBump looks like from my perspective. #BabySeewald.'

Jessa - and her sister Jill Dillard - have also been invited to share their post-19 Kids and Counting lives with viewers, with 'two or more' specials, with the first set to air by the end of the year.

Jill, who recently became a midwife, will appear in one of the specials alongside husband Derick Dillard and their five-month-old son Israel, and it will depict their move to Central America as part of a Christian mission.

The 24-year-old took to her Instagram to share her excitement over the news, writing: 'We are looking forward to reconnecting with everyone with the new specials on TLC—many have asked about our mission work and about the challenges of taking our family to a different country, culture and learning a new language. We appreciate your prayers.'

Jessa's special, meanwhile, will focus on her and Ben as they prepare for the arrival of their first child together.

Back at it: Jessa (R) and her older sister Jill Dillard (L) will even return to TLC with 'two or more' specials, with the former's detailing her preparations for the new baby, and the latter's following her family's move to Central America for mission work

'If there is any silver lining to the scandals, it's that it only reinforced the strength Jessa has in her marriage, her family and, most of all, her faith,' the source said of the mom-to-be.

The family became embroiled in scandal as it became public in May that Josh had molested five girls, including four of his sisters, when he was 14 and 15.

After the shocking revelation, the family's popular show - 19 Kids and Counting - on which they had risen to fame, was cancelled by TLC.

The show chronicling the conservative Christian family had been a fixture on the cable channel since September 2008.

Josh also resigned from his job with Christian lobbying group Family Research Council following the scandal.

Three months after the first scandal, the family was plagued with another as Josh's information was revealed as part of the hack on infidelity website Ashley Madison.

Following the data breach, Josh came clean about his issues, admitting that he had been unfaithful to his wife Anna.

The former reality star is currently in rehab for sex addiction at the Reformers Unanimous program in Rockford, Illinois.
