Justin Bieber says he 'wouldn't take back' his bad boy antics blaming 'the wrong sorts' for his past but vows to redeem himself and spread 'light and hope'

He reportedly ditched alcohol and drugs earlier this year in a bid to draw a line under the past and relaunch his music career.

And as Justin Bieber, 21, took to the stage in Sydney on Wednesday for his comeback concert, he appeared repentant, telling Australian breakfast talk show Sunrise that while he vows to redeem himself he 'wouldn't take back anything.'

Explaining his bad boy past, the pop star told hosts Samantha Armytage and David 'Kochie' Koch: 'It's awesome to have so many people accept me again and know I'm on a good path.

'It is important to me. I feel like I've used my platform this past couple of years, not really used it the way that I know that I can and know that I want to. I want to kinda redeem myself and just spread light and spread hope and spread positivity.'
