Worst apology ever! Andy Cohen reveals on The Tonight Show that he told Tori Spelling to 'EAT SOMETHING' while saying sorry

Andy Cohen managed to offend Tori Spelling by telling her to 'EAT SOMETHING' in capital letters in an email.

The 47-year-old Watch What Happens Live host made the revelation on Wednesday while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Andy said he made a joke about the perilously skinny star after she was burned from falling on a hot hibachi grill earlier this year.

'It's actually not funny, but I made a Chicken Cacciatore [catch-a-tori] joke about it,' he confessed to Fallon.

'Anyway she emailed me and she goes ''dude…this is not funny'' and she launched in to this very long email about how bad it was,' added the TV presenter, who has just launched his own show on SiriusXM called Radio Andy.

Cohen said he felt bad then replied to the ultra-thin Beverly Hills 90210 star to apologise.

'I said I'm sorry…and then…at the bottom of her email I thought she'd said that she hadn't been able to eat for a week after the burn…so I said EAT SOMETHING in all caps,' he recalled.

'Then she emailed back and said ''now you're making fun of my appearance'',' he grimaced.

'So I read back over the email and she hadn't said anything about not being able to eat. I made it up! It was terrible,' he laughed.
