Diana Ross nipped out to her local organic grocery market in Los Angeles to pick up a few items on Tuesday.

The singing superstar, who's 71, had an employee load the purchases into the trunk of her vehicle for her and then gave the woman a tip.

She'll return to The Venetian hotel and casino for nine shows in November as part of The Essential Diana Ross: Some Memories Never Fade.

In March, ahead of the first series of gigs, the former Supreme told the Las Vegas Review-Journal: 'We will all take a musical journey of love. Each song reminds me of something special, somewhere special or someone very special. Music is magic like that.'

She added: 'I love to sing and perform and every show feels like a celebration. Just like a brand new day or a brand new moment and it’s all about the music and those private and personal memories.'
