Pajama envy! Make-up free Heidi Klum has that just rolled out of bed look in VERY comfy attire as she jets out of New York

Heidi Klum takes her fashion seriously and is usually so well put together, but maybe she needed a day off.

The 42-year-old Project Runway star was casual in an outfit that looked a lot like pajamas as she arrived at JFK Airport in New York City for a flight on Thursday.

Heidi wore no trace of make-up on her face as she strolled through the terminal in her comfortable striped top and trouser set that disguised her slender model figure.

Get a half moon bag like Heidi

Heidi Klum has made some interesting sartorial choices lately. First it was the yellow confection by Versace she wore to the Emmy's. Now it's a coordinate set that looks like a pair of pajama's... avec flip-flops.

As Tim Gunn put it, Heidi would look good in a garbage bag and this look does have a bohemian appeal, not to mention its comfort factor especially while traveling. It's practical, we'll give her that. However, this is a tough look for most of us to pull off.

So let's talk about her crossbody bag. It is Elizabeth and James Scott Moon leather shoulder bag and she's been wearing it often. We love the half-circle shape, simple saddlebag look and long shoulder straps. The best part is that you can have it now for a reasonable $545 at Net-A-Porter (click right).

If you'd like to do some window shopping first, see below. We've found some half-moon bags from A.P.C., Express, Vince Camuto and, if money isn't an issue, Chloe.

She added a pretty, beaded double-strand necklace as a fashionable touch, while a black leather bag was looped across her shoulders.

Heidi padded along in flip flops and there were mirrored shades to conceal her eyes.

Nevertheless she smiled happily and seemed in great spirits while heading to the departure gate.

Heidi has been on a roll, traveling to Italy for Milan Fashion Week and the glittering amfAR gala last week.

The German-born supermodel was accompanied by her boyfriend Vito Schnabel to both events where Heidi ruled the day in formal attire.

At Saturday's amfAR auction, Heidi was a vision in a form-hugging, black embroidered sheer number with crossing halter straps.

While there, Heidi urged the handsome art dealer to buy her a giant plastic snail.

Their interest in the piece helped to spike the price and helped raise a record of $1.6 million for the AIDS charity in Italy.

'Vito, I thought you were going to buy me the snail,' Heidi, who chaired the event, cajoled from the stage as the bidding heated up.

A few bids later, Vito won the 3-meter (11 foot) snail by the Europe-based Cracking Art Group for 20,000 euro ($22,000).

Heidi told the Associated Press aftewards that she planned to put the unique piece in her garden.

The amfAR charity raises money for AIDS research, with the goal of finding a cure for AIDS by 2020.

And the day before, on September 25, Heidi brightened the Versace fashion show in a minty green mini-dress and thigh-high black boots.

Meanwhile, the mother-of-four also has a new Heidi Klum Intimates collection for Macy's department store.

She said that her line of bras and panties give women 'the perfect boost' and a 'natural shape,' WWD reported in April.

The mother-of-four allowed her 5.25 million combined social media followers a generous glimpse of the bras and panties in a series of sexy videos posted to her Twitter and Instagram accounts that featured her dancing and posing seductively amid animated graphics to the sound of rock 'n roll music.
