She's never one to pull her punches when it comes to making a fashion statement.

And on Thursday Demi Lovato was certain to stun in an understated skintight outfit as she co-hosted WE Day in Toronto, Canada.

The 23-year-old sported a strapless top and high-waisted trousers, showcasing her incredibly fit figure.

With her dark tresses slicked back, the singer wore dark eye make-up as she interacted with excited fans at the youth oriented show.

WE Day is an organization that celebrates and helps young people around the globe making meaningful impacts in their communities.

Also bringing star power to the event was Nick Jonas and Carly Rae Jepsen, who performed during the show.

It was revealed earlier in this year that the singer-actress will join her fellow former Disney star Nick Jonas in launching their own record label with manager Phil McIntyre.

In the joint venture with Island Records, the entertainers will launch Safehouse Records - an artist-centric label, Billboard reports.

'I've worked closely with both Nick and Phil for years and we share the same point of view when it comes to making music,' Demi said in a statement.

Incidentally, Demi and Nick's older brother Joe for about a month in 2010 during their heyday as Disney stars. 

Nick is now rumour to be dating a woman 13 years his senior in the form of none other than Kate Hudson.

The 23-year-old, however, has remained coy about the whole thing, keeping his mouth shut as to whether or not he is dating the 36-year-old.
