The 21-year-old has previously credited her 25-hour-a-week dance regiment as a teenager for her flexibility and stamina which have played a crucial role in catapulting her to No 6 in the UFC strawweight rankings.
VanZant, who has won all three of her fights since entering the UFC, is set to face Scotland's Joanne Calderwood in Las Vegas on December 10.
The fight headlines a Thursday night card on arguably the biggest UFC weekend of the year, with Irish superstar Conor McGregor and pound-for-pound No 1 Jose Aldo fighting for the UFC featherweight strap two days later at the MGM Grand.
