Juan Mata is in impressive form for Manchester United, scoring two in his last two matches... and it appears even a blindfold is unable to stop the Spain international.

Firing free-kicks into the top corner of a goal with a five-man wall is not an easy feat regardless, but place a blindfold on the kicker and it becomes nearly impossible... or so you'd think.

Not so for Mata though, who manages to perform the task with perfect accuracy in a new video for his YouTube channel, slotting ball after ball into the back of the net with the same technique that has seen him notch three and assist three in the Premier League so far this season.

Placing the ball down 22 yards from goal, the former Chelsea midfielder rifles four consecutive efforts into the goal, with all but one hitting the top corner of the net.

If Louis van Gaal lays eyes on the video, he will surely be hoping his star turn can fire a set piece into the top corner this weekend, as he looks to continue his impressive form on the pitch for Manchester United.

The Red Devils travel to the Emirates on Sunday to face Arsenal in one of the longest-running and hard-fought rivalries in English football.

Both sides are in the top four of the Premier League table going into the eighth round of fixtures, with Mata's United top of the tree with 16 points.

After a season of change last time out, United now look ready to mount a serious title challenge, and have set their stall out with five wins, one draw and one defeat in their opening seven matches.

In Europe, Mata has been in fine form too, providing a goal and an assist to help his side beat Wolfsburg on Wednesday night.

He slotted home from the penalty spot for his goal, before producing a stunning flick for Chris Smalling to score the winner in the second half.

United are joint top of Group B following the victory, but that's hardly saying a lot, as they're also joint bottom.

All four teams - United, PSV, Wolfsburg and CSKA Moscow - have won one and lost one of their opening two games.
