The only thing more exciting then the pending release of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising is Zac Efron on the set of the upcoming sequel.

So giving fans of the comedy something to look forward to, Efron continued to flaunt his sculpted stature on Tuesday as he performed some stunts in Atlanta, Georgia.

Giving a new definition to 'smoking hot', the shirtless 27-year-old put on quite a show as he jumped over a fire pit while the cameras rolled.

And action! The 27-year-old showed off his athletic physique as he performed some stunts as cameras rolled

Taking to the set in a pair of bright orange shorts, striped socks, Nike trainers and a pink sheet tied around his neck, Efron did well to display his rippling muscles.

Once the director gave Zac his cue, the handsome actor was seen clutching a bin bag as he leapt over a fire pit as party goers watched on.

Seemingly shooting scenes for some sort of challenge, the High School Musical star did a few takes of the same shot before running off in another direction.

Zac will be reprising his role as a rowdy frat king Teddy Sanders along with his neighbor nemesis Mac Radner played by Seth Rogen.

The original film, released in 2014, was a surprise mega hit grossing $269 million worldwide.

Keeping the formula to success, original cast members Rose Byrne and Dave Franco will also be returning to Greek Row.

One to watch... Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, directed by Nicholas Stoller, is set for release in May 2016

Joining the cast is Chloe Moretz as well as her just revealed sorority sister Selena Gomez, who was outed as an unexpected addition thanks to eagle eyed fans earlier this month.

Not much is known about the plot of the movie although it's been said Moretz plays wild college student Miranda Rodriguez who moves in next door to The Radners.

Once again being directed by Nicholas Stoller, those behind the second film are hoping for to repeat the success when the film is released May, 2016.
